What to expect
This course takes place at our campus overlooking the Matanuska Glacier and in the nearby backcountry of the Talkeetna Mountains. We start with training at our Base Camp that includes hands-on practice with knives, fire and cord as well as “class room” time around the campfire.
After learning the fundamentals and building your own survival kit you’ll practice your skills in a challenging survival scenario.
Alaska is the classroom. Adventure is your teacher.
